Museums with free admission are a beautiful thing and we promise never to take them for granted ever again. The Museum of Natural History is usually the one tourists mean when they say “The Smithsonian,” although many of the museums in D.C. are technically “The Smithsonian.” And when you go to the Museum of Natural History, it is obligatory to A) take a picture of the elephant in the foyer or B) take a picture WITH the elephant in the foyer.
